Just a quick post to show a preview of Jason & Mary’s wedding photos from last weekend at the beautiful Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral in downtown Los Angeles! It’s a very busy time with weddings to edit, and having just come back from a trip to India, but I wanted to make sure to get this up! Special thanks to Justin Barr, my second photographer for the day! He was a huge help with lighting and capturing images from another angle, and being a second set of eyes.

Photographing Shannon and Jon’s beautiful wedding was a wonderful way to spend part of my labor day weekend. It was such a relaxed environment, at an absolutely stunning venue, the Aliso Creek Inn and Golf Course in Laguna Beach. As a photographer, this is the type of venue you dream to shoot a wedding at! Take a few minutes to enjoy a sneak peek at their wedding photography.

Jessica and Darren | Laguna Beach Wedding at Hotel Laguna

When I met with Darren, Jessica, and her family to talk about this wedding a few months ago, I was visibly excited about the day. Beach wedding with a beautiful couple! Well, the day did not disappoint one bit, and I was honored to be a part of their wonderful wedding day. My wife Emily came along and got some great images as well! Such a good day. On with the preview images!

Julianna and Al | Claremont Wedding, Baseline Community Church

Julianna and Al are a great couple who were fun to work with, and both have huge hearts. Some of the more moving toasts I have heard were given, and in my interactions with them, I got to see why both the groomsmen and bridesmaids had such nice things to say. The wedding and reception were at Baseline Community Church in Claremont. Hope you enjoy this peek into their wedding images!

A Tropical Celebration – Sean and Sara at Ole Hanson Beach Club, San Clemente, CA

Sunday the 27th of June was Sean and Sara’s wedding day at the Ole Hanson Beach Club in San Clemente, CA. It started out with some June gloom, but as the day went on the sun came out to provide us with some beautiful light for such an exquisite wedding. I absolutely love all of the color throughout the day, hence most of these images being in color.

The ceremony took place right outside the beach club on a nice little grass lawn overlooking the ocean.

They changed into really neat custom made Hawaiian clothes for the reception.

Kinda off-topic but not… did I mention I loved the color!! When you see the rest of the images you’ll notice everyone was wearing vibrant, Hawaiian clothes!

Alex & Jessica Wedding Photography – Talega Golf Club and St. Edwards Church, Dana Point

Back to back weddings the last two weekends and both were an absolute blast! Alex and Jessica got married at St. Edwards Church in Dana Point, and had their reception at the scenic Talega Golf Club just down the 5. I loved spending the day with them, a fun-loving couple. Here is a preview of the images… enjoy!

I’m here with some images from Rebecca and Andrew’s wedding! Having been together for so many years, you could tell that both Rebecca and Andrew were elated to be finally be getting married! I truly enjoyed working with them and am so happy for them.

Looking back at 2009, looking forward to 2010 weddings

I’m starting to get really pumped for the 2010 weddings that await! It all begins next month (unless some crazy last minute bride needs a photographer in the next 9 days…) While I am very excited about the weddings lined up for this year, I don’t want to forget about what a great year 2009 was. Ki Yong and Carolyn’s Wedding

As promised, here are some more images from the 6/13 wedding of Ki Yong Kim and Carolyn Wallace. I am not sure which was more fun; shooting their wedding or editing their wedding photos! Ki Yong and Carolyn, I want to say thanks for the prvilege of documenting your wedding day.

Here we are at the beautiful Grace Church of Glendora. While driving to the church, it was actually raining a good deal. Fortunately the rain calmed down and it was nice and overcast for most of the day, making for great lighting.

You may notice a particular element of this day is missing- the Paebaek ceremony. I promise that I did not lose the memory card with those images, but they will be on here later as a separate post. It will be much shorter than this one.

After Ki Yong and Carolyn left, I went to say good-bye to Ki Yong’s mother, Emily (English name), and she told me how to say “see you later” in Korean. While I can’t say that in a blog entry, I’ll put the text translation: 나중에 또 만나요
