When I met with Darren, Jessica, and her family to talk about this wedding a few months ago, I was visibly excited about the day. Beach wedding with a beautiful couple! Well, the day did not disappoint one bit, and I was honored to be a part of their wonderful wedding day. My wife Emily came along and got some great images as well! Such a good day. On with the preview images!

Jessica, getting ready, thinking about the wedding day. (Or just posing for sweet wedding photos ;) )

Here’s Darren and his men…

A couple portraits of Jessica

All the ladies, smiling. Jessica had pretty good aim with this shot, I must say!

Shoes and another portrait where we make our groom the background, to draw focus to the bride, but add a little story.

A kiss on the beach as birds flew over.

Loved her veil!

Fun angle of the two looking off in the distance.

Thanks for taking a peak!

Julianna and Al are a great couple who were fun to work with, and both have huge hearts. Some of the more moving toasts I have heard were given, and in my interactions with them, I got to see why both the groomsmen and bridesmaids had such nice things to say. The wedding and reception were at Baseline Community Church in Claremont. Hope you enjoy this peek into their wedding images!

Resting on the bench, love how this one turned out!

Sunday the 27th of June was Sean and Sara’s wedding day at the Ole Hanson Beach Club in San Clemente, CA. It started out with some June gloom, but as the day went on the sun came out to provide us with some beautiful light for such an exquisite wedding. I absolutely love all of the color throughout the day, hence most of these images being in color. :)

Here’s the lovely bride, Sara

The ceremony took place right outside the beach club on a nice little grass lawn overlooking the ocean.

They changed into really neat custom made Hawaiian clothes for the reception.

Holding each other tightly in matching outfits… awesome.

Kinda off-topic but not… did I mention I loved the color!! When you see the rest of the images you’ll notice everyone was wearing vibrant, Hawaiian clothes!

Sean and Sara, you guys were awesome to work with, it was such a fun wedding to be a part of!

A few weeks back, Sally Jackson got in touch with me about doing family photos (for a beautiful spot over their dining table) and updating some headshots for Tyler and Justine. And of course I was stoked to see the whole family. We shot at the Yucaipa Regional Park. They also agreed to let me license the images through iStock, which usually leads to a few minutes of random fame here and there. :)

When we got there, we were told they were actually closing early – leaving us approximately 10 minutes to do the shoot! Not enough time. Well, we got in and started shooting, and definitely lost track of time. By the time we got out, there were still people leaving so it was all good. My lovely wife helped on the shoot as well, be sure to check out her photos when you have a chance.

Anyway, here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.

If I remember correctly, I think they will be making Hawaiian Chicken when we come over to deliver the photos… can’t wait!

Back to back weddings the last two weekends and both were an absolute blast! Alex and Jessica got married at St. Edwards Church in Dana Point, and had their reception at the scenic Talega Golf Club just down the 5. I loved spending the day with them, a fun-loving couple. Here is a preview of the images… enjoy!

Beautiful scenery + great couple + fisheye lens = this…

Windblown hair… looking off into the distance. I tried to give Alex and Jessica some privacy. This is where the long lens comes in handy, capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments.
