Stock
Stock photography is everywhere. Basically, companies purchase already-photographed images to use in their marketing, ranging from websites, TV spots, print, anywhere you find media. The idea is that it is cheaper to buy an existing image than to hire a photographer to create new content. Since 2004, I’ve been building a portfolio of stock imagery, and since 2006, I sell exclusively through iStockphoto.com. As of this writing, I have over 1,200 images for sale, and am continually looking to add more. If you are interested in being a part of creating stock photography, head on over to the modeling page for more info!
Past clients of mine include:
- Microsoft
- Yahoo!
- Los Angeles Dodgers
- Costco
- Michael’s
- Bed Bath & Beyond
- Hewlett-Packard
- Sprint
It’s always rewarding to hear of an image being used, and seeing how it was used. Even more cool is seeing how excited the people that I photograph are when they hear of an image of them being used. Some have seen enough work to create a scrapbook of companies using images of them to advertise!
