Now presenting… Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and Cristina Tirrell! I had such a great time photographing this wedding at Etiwanda Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. The venue was serene, and the people were awesome. Enjoy taking a look at some of the images from the day.

Cristina’s ring was beautiful. I also have to give props to Ryan, his was pretty neat as well.
A few years back, I had a phase where I shot lots, and I mean lots of water photographs. Here’s one example
Last week, I had a buyer request a similar photo to that one but with an Australian flag as the background, so here it is! Doing this shoot reminded me how difficult it was to get the right water flow from the faucet. Anyways, it was fun, and hopefully the buyer is happy with the image!
I must have received a hundred questions on the old ones like, “Is that Photoshop?” or, “Is that real?” The answer is, no, it is not photoshopped. In fact I don’t think this one ever went beyond CameraRaw. Just your everyday levels and contrast adjustments. This type of shot is all about the lighting. And another mystifying example of God’s glory.
Emily and I have a few straggler gift-cards remaining from our wedding gifts, one of which was to Trader Joe’s. The time came where my longing for peanut butter filled pretzels and Emily’s continued search for good Naan led us to the store. Something was whack yesterday, almost everything in the store screamed, “buy me!”, including a beautiful Phalaenopsis Orchid.
I have been eyeing this flower for years, always wanting to photograph it but never willing to spend the money on it. Finally caved yesterday, and it is beautiful in our house. I wanted to share a few of the photos that were taken yesterday.
Focus on the front curly parts, I love the color blurred out in the background on this one.
This was Emily’s favorite, I like it a lot too, how it contrasts with the black background.
I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph James and Kristin (Martin) Shook’s wedding over the weekend! I have a lot of photos to work through, but here are a few, just to preview what’s coming!
Well, we’re back with some images from the beautiful wedding of Mollie and Tim Hibbard! They got married on the last Friday in June at St. Joseph the Worker church in Loma Linda. The reception was at a friends’ house that Tim had done most all of the landscaping at in preparation for the wedding, quite impressive! This day was heavily family oriented which I absolutely loved. They both have tremendous families and friends which made the entire day a joy to photograph. The sunset lighting towards the end made for some beautiful bride and groom portraits, the stained glass windows were vibrant, I loved being a part of this day.
Here’s the church at high noon, before the wedding began.
The mother of the groom, Laura, preparing Mollie’s hair with a plethora of hands performing various tasks to get the bride ready.
A portrait of Mollie, looking beautiful and excited.
Tim and Mollie did not see each other before the wedding, which meant we had to find interesting locations for individual portraits.

Tim and Mollie were great to work with and very much enjoyed the more romantic photos.
Looking out
Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful June wedding and reception. It was a pleasure and honor to be a part of Tim and Mollie’s day!
Anyone hear of Nick Vujicic and Life without limbs? He has an amazing ministry going on that he is serving God with. I will not try to say too much about him as you would be better off going to his site, but Nick was born without arms or legs. He has a fascinating story. He spoke last week at the annual Coaches of Influence (COIN) honor banquet (another amazing ministry that reaches out to coaches!). I was honored to be able to document the event for COIN. One piece of encouragement from the night: “Stop asking for a miracle and be a miracle!”
Bottom line- Nick was just a ton of fun to be around!
