Susan and Dylan were so calm and easy to work with, it was definitely one of the most relaxed weddings I have been a part of. The venue was amazing, the Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook. I enjoyed being able to capture their wedding day in images… see a few samples below!

Looking back at 2009, looking forward to 2010 weddings

I’m starting to get really pumped for the 2010 weddings that await! It all begins next month (unless some crazy last minute bride needs a photographer in the next 9 days…) While I am very excited about the weddings lined up for this year, I don’t want to forget about what a great year 2009 was. Now presenting… Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and Cristina Tirrell! I had such a great time photographing this wedding at Etiwanda Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. The venue was serene, and the people were awesome. Enjoy taking a look at some of the images from the day.

What a privilege it was to photograph the wedding of Ki Yong Kim and Carolyn Wallace! Ki Yong is such an amazing man, a leader, and a friend. Carolyn made a stunning bride, and is a wonderful woman for Ki Yong. To be able to share in this day with them is something I will never forget.

I have a lot of work to do in organizing and editing their photos, but I wanted to share just a few quick images that stood out to me. Diana and Ryan wedding, part one

Working with John to capture moments from Diana and Ryan’s wedding day was spectacular. The wedding took place in Temecula, and it was absolutely beautiful. This will be a two-part blog post as there are many images to share!

More Actors’ and Actress’ headshots

Julie (formally Salee) Partin had me do her headshots a while back, and we were able to coordinate a group headshot session with her, Robert ‘Bobo’ Chang, and Matthew Jones. As usual, the lighting in one of my “secret spots” was perfect, and the 1.8 lens and I worked our magic. It was after this shoot that I’ve decided to try and incorporate more horizontal headshots into headshot sessions. They aren’t necessarily conventional, but I like the way they allow for some empty space and bring focus to the face and eyes.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had the opportunity to work with Matthew. Check out his website for more about his recent work.

Robert “Bobo” Chang has made appearances on multiple TV shows recently, most notably FOX’s “Lie to Me.”
