About
June 20, 2009
I am a visual person. I am motivated and inspired by things I see. Perhaps that’s why I love photography so much. I capture things as they happen. I’ve been professionaly taking pictures for 6 years.
Starting out, sports were my favorite type of photography. Being an athlete myself connected the passions together, and you could find me at almost any sporting event at my high school.
Eventually, I discovered that I could use photography as a service to others, and I started doing headshots for actors and actresses. Again, combining the passions (yes, I acted in a few plays and musicals!), serving actors was my pursuit.
From there, my range of services expanded quickly as the same realization I had for serving people through headshot photography caught on for other kinds of photography, and other forms of digital media.
iStockphoto.com has served as a tool for growth and inspiration. My images have been purchased and used by companies including Microsoft, The Los Angeles Dodgers, The New York Yankees, Costco, Sprint, Blackberry, Yahoo!, the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and over 25,000 others.
More recently I have expanded my skillset to include videography, web design and development, and 3d.
The beautiful woman next to me in the picture is my wife Emily. We met at Biola University. We got married on 2/7/09. She is my best friend in the world. She’s a sweetheart, and she fits the profile for me being a visual person.
My God and savior Jesus Christ are why I am in the position to serve other through photography. All my gifts are from him, and all credit should be reflected to him. That is my goal!
